Work Experience & Placement Opportunities

At CapesWildlifeRescue, we are passionate about sharing our knowledge and helping others develop their understanding of wildlife rescue, rehabilitation and welfare.

We welcome enquiries from work expericence students interested in gaining practical experience and learning more about the day-to-day running of a multi-species wildlife rescue. Depending on availability, opportunities may include observing animal care routines, learning about rehabilitation practices, understanding wildlife welfare and biosecurity, and seeing how our team supports animals on their journey towards release.

All placements and work experience opportunities are subject to availability, suitability and the needs of the animals in our care. As animal welfare is always our priority, we cannot guarantee hands-on experience with wildlife.
